日本維新の会の空本誠喜衆院議員（広島4区）は13日、次期衆院選に無所属で立候補することを明らかにしました。
広島市で開かれた記者会見の中で、空本氏は党運営について「大阪一極集中だ」との不満を表明しました。全国政党としての成長を目指して努力してきたものの、現状に対する不満が募ったことが背景にあると述べています。
ただし、当面は離党をせずに活動するとしており、今後の動向に注目が集まります。
